Yes it's true, the American Guitar Centre and Bassworld are now living in sin together, we know it shouldn't be allowed but they just cannot be kept apart. So now you can also come and see the most amazing basses available anywhere in the world. Bassworld is the official distributor for Alembic - the most prestigeous name in basses (and guitars of course).
The New Website
Thoroughly re-designed with a simple interface to make your search for the perfect guitar really straightforward. PLEASE NOTE because of the unique nature of much of our stock the photos are the ACTUAL GUITARS IN STOCK not library images. All special items have close up and detail photos as well as full shots.
To use the website click on one of the logos at the top of any page or select from the menu on the left. The left hand menu divides into 3 departments: 'Electric Guitar Shop', 'Acoustic Guitar Shop' and 'Bass Shop'. Each shop sub-divides into makers, click on the make you want. You'll see all the info about each item of stock (everything on display is in stock at 9:00am on any given day). To view photos full size click the photo and then use your back button to return to the previous page. Purchasing couldn't be easier, click the add to cart button and proceed to checkout. If you wish to add more items or next day delivery click 'continue shopping' and well... continue shopping (the next day delivery option is found at the bottom of each stock page, just add to cart)..
Ordering & Pricing
You'll notice pretty quickly that we have a shop price and an internet only price. When you buy from the shop you get personal attention and as much time to try guitars at your leisure as you need. You get free set-ups, full backup and advice. Our Internet prices are much less because the overheads connected with internet only sales are much lower. You can order over the internet using our secure form or you can telephone us with your credit card details.
